My name is Alegia Papageorgiou. I was born in Athens, Greece. I am now based in The Hague (Netherlands). I am an emerging media scenographer and visual artist, working between The Netherlands, London, Athens as well as other cities in Europe.

My work involves video, photography, lighting, projection mapping, sound editing, electronics hacking, scenic art, textiles, set/stage design, costume design, sculpture and any other technical support suiting the project (in theatre, performance and installation art).

I have worked extensively with the idea of reflections and mimicry - what they represent culturally, psychologically, aesthetically, reflecting materials, interacting with light sources (projections) and making costumes using all these.
